Gilbert Arenas has to be one of the most polarizing voices in sports media today. While many appreciate his cut-to-the-chase nature of the analysis, his takes don’t always land well.

Arenas was recently mocked for saying people didn’t fear LeBron James. After that, Arenas is now aiming fire at Kwame Brown on Instagram, alleging that Brown is a junkie and a cocaine addict.

Arenas and Brown do not have love lost between them. Kwame recently said that people like Arenas show exactly what’s wrong in their community. Those comments from Brown came after Arenas accused him of being an alcoholic. Both these former Wizards players are likely going to take shots and snipe at each other on social media.

What Did Gilbert Arenas And Kwame Brown Achieve In the NBA

Gilbert Arenas has been taking shots at Kwame Brown for a while now. He had gone off on Kwame for criticizing LeBron James for checking the stat sheet in the middle of games, while also revealing Kwame’s nickname of ‘Boo Boo Brown’, based on the boos he received from his own home crowds. This all also is preceded by Brown calling out Arenas in an iconic rant that saw Kwame also air his grievances with Stephen A. Smith.

Arenas had a successful NBA career and averaged 20.7 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.9 rebounds over the course of it, making some of the biggest contracts the league had ever seen during his time. Brown wasn’t as successful, averaging 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds despite being the No. 1 overall pick in 2001. He ended up fizzling out of the league much faster than Arenas, but both have notable voices in the media now.
