For most NBA basketball fans, their attention is focused strictly on the 48 minutes of on-court action. While those 48 minutes are obviously the main attraction to any NBA game, it’s not necessarily the only thing to see.

Some, like Gilbert Arenas, also make sure to take notice of the team dancers as well. The NBA is not particularly known for its cheerleaders, but most of the teams in the association actually have really talented and well-developed squads.

According to Arenas, there are two that stand out above the rest.

“There’s only a few teams that got good enough cheerleaders that you wanna take serious,” he said. “You got Miami, Atlanta. No one’s calling a timeout in Utah to look at the dancers. Miami, you’re calling timeouts just to look at the performance. Like, ‘Oh, hold on y’all, timeout, let’s look.’”

This topic is completely subjective, so it’s impossible to answer this debate with any certainty. Clearly, however, ‘Agent 0’ has done his research.

Can The Miami Heat Turn Their Season Around?

While the Heat may be the NBA’s best dance team, they certainly aren’t the best at basketball. Despite Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo having solid seasons overall, the Heat are just 7th in the East with a 19-18 record overall.

Obviously, they will need more than good dancing to improve their play this season.

This season has also had inconsistencies in terms of players available. Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, and Bam Adebayo haven’t been on the court together as often as the Heat would like. Bam attributes that to the Heat’s early-season struggles.

“It’s our big four,” said Bam Adebayo. “It’s who we depend on most throughout the game on both sides of the court. … When you’re missing one of the pieces, you can tell. But when we’re all together, I feel like we’re hard to beat.”

It has not been a good season for Miami so far, but it’s early enough for them to find some success this year. They will need Butler, Bam, and Herro at their absolute best if they want any chance to win.

They will also need the strong support of their fans. It’s a good thing they’ve got a good dance crew to bring some excitement and buzz to FTX Arena.
