Goran Dragic is taking his talents to Chicago after agreeing to a one-year deal with the Bulls. With his experience, Dragic can bring a lot to a Bulls team ready to make a splash next season. The Slovenian point guard last played for the Brooklyn Nets after a tumultuous tenure with the Toronto Raptors.

He was linked with a move to the Dallas Mavericks this offseason, but the veteran decided to take a different route. He’ll go join Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and co. to try to compete for one of the top spots in the Eastern Conference while trying to make a deep playoff run.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Dragic has agreed to a one-year, $2.9 million deal with the Bulls for the next season. Chicago has landed solid guards in recent years, adding Dragic to a team that already has Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso on the roster.

The Bulls are trying to assemble a competitive team, and after securing LaVine’s services, they only want to bring the best players to help the shooting guard lead this team to the promised land.

After several years in Miami, Dragic was dealt to Toronto, where he couldn’t find his groove. Now, he has another chance to make an impact with the Bulls, which could help him get a bigger contract next offseason.
