The Golden State Warriors have stormed back into their first-round series against the Sacramento Kings with a 1-point win in their Game 4 matchup. The series is tied 2-2.
It could’ve easily been 3-1 right now if Harrison Barnes converted the three he attempted at the buzzer, but he missed. The former champion spoke about missing that crucial shot after the game.
“After you learn to put yourself together after 2016, I think one shot is not going to necessarily faze you. For me, it’s all about trusting the process. I got a good look but I missed it.”

Barnes is averaging 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in this series so far, playing his role as a veteran on the team. Given this history Barnes has with the Warriors and all the shots he missed when they lost the 2016 NBA Finals, he would’ve enjoyed hitting a game-winner on their floor. Now, they’ve got to regroup and win Game 5 to have a shot at winning the series.
Can The Kings Hold On For A Series Win?
After the Kings won Games 1 and 2, many believed that they had what it takes to eliminate a Warriors’ squad that has looked inconsistent all year. For as bad as the Warriors have been away from home, they’re extremely good at home. The home team has won every game in this series, and Game 5 will take place in Sacramento.
If the Kings want to walk away with the win, they need to attack the Warriors from opening tip and put pressure on them. Their fans will most definitely be very loud and rowdy, so feeding off that energy and taking a 3-2 lead would be the best thing the franchise could do for itself.
