In 2013, Skip Bayless Selected 5 Players For A Pickup Team: Michael Jordan, Kwame Brown, Stanislav Medvedenko, Rasho Nesterovic, Tiago Splitter

Skip Bayless is well known for his questionable takes about LeBron James and probably any other current superstar in the league. The controversial analyst is one of the biggest defenders of Michael Jordan and he never misses his chance to make the case for the Chicago Bulls legend.

Back in 2013, he tried to make the worst possible team for MJ to carry and truth be told, that was a very bad team. During an old edition of First Take, Skip picked five players for a pickup game and he didn’t miss the opportunity to claim that his team would beat anybody in front of them simply because they had Jordan. What was the lineup? MJ, of course, accompanied by Kwame Brown, Stanislav Medvedenko, Rasho Nesterovic and Tiago Splitter.

Well, that just wasn’t it, with a lot of these players being unknown for most fans, and the one that had some recognition didn’t get it for the right reasons. Perhaps Splitter had the best reputation among the players not named Jordan. NBA fans reacted to this, some trashing Bayless, others just laughing while the rest explained he was trying to make a point with a big joke.

This is a big proof of how fond Skip is of Jordan and this isn’t something new. He’s always making the case for His Airness as the GOAT and that will never end for the now Fox Sports analyst. Seeing how Jordan used to take things personally, depending on the rival, this team would still put up a fight and lose for only 3 points.

Jordan was always willing to give his best and to bring the best out of his teammates. In this hypothetical case, nothing would have been different.
