Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith were all very surprised to see some of the places on the viral list.

A group of women recently created a list of the 28 places where they would absolutely refuse to go on a first date, and it went viral on social media. The Inside the NBA crew was recently shown the list and they had some interesting reactions to it.

“I’m amazed at this list,” Ernie Johnson said. “Where are you supposed to go? What are you supposed to do on a first date, if these are the 28 things you can’t do?”

Johnson wanted a list of what would be an acceptable first-date location. He couldn’t believe going out for some coffee or a movie was unacceptable. Charles Barkley had similar thoughts on the movies not being an acceptable destination.

“Wait, the movies are (an) unacceptable first date? Well, that’s just bogus,” Barkley said.

Shaquille O’Neal felt movie nights were the absolute best way to spend the first date and another destination on the list was very acceptable to him too.

“Hookah bar of course,” O’Neal said. “Yes, hookah bar is very acceptable.”

O’Neal also disagreed with the Cheesecake factory being at the top of the list. Kenny Smith, meanwhile, took offense to Applebee’s being second on that list.

“If I was in college and I took you to Applebees, you better be happy,” Smith said.

That would certainly leave you with a hole in your wallet. Smith also felt that bowling would be an acceptable location but he and Barkley agreed on family functions definitely not being the place to take someone on a first date.

“I don’t think a family function is a good spot for a first date,” Smith stated. “Because then the family expects that this person is going to return.

I certainly agree that family functions are not where you want to take someone on a first date, and in general, I agree with most of what these four had to say. As Johnson said, we need a list of acceptable places, if all of these don’t work.

NBA Fans Reacted To The Clip

This list has sparked a lot of debate on social media and the reactions of the crew quickly went viral. NBA fans hilariously reacted to it.

One totally agreed with Smith on Applebee’s, “Kenny said it best, ‘If I’m taking you to Applebee’s and I’m in college you better be happy.'”

A fan jokingly referenced Barkley’s past comments on the women in San Antonio, “We know them San Antonio women didn’t make this list.”

A fan hilariously stated that even millionaires find this to be a crazy list, “Even the millionaires said y’all are crazy.”

One brutally said these are the women who struggle to find a man, “The women that created this list are the same ones complaining they do not have a man.”

A woman said she’d be more than happy to go to any of the places mentioned, “Listen any restaurant on this list works perfect for me!!! So to the women who complaining your loss because you can eat good at either one of these restaurants! I know I would be appreciative to go to any of the places on this list! I love to eat good food!!!!!”

Safe to say the crew got a lot of support from the fans. I’d like to think a lot of women won’t actually have an issue with going to a lot of these locations, like the one who said she’d appreciate any of the places there.

Stephen A. Smith’s Reaction To The List Went Viral

The Inside the NBA crew wasn’t the only talking heads in the NBA world to be left surprised by what they saw here. Much like them, Stephen A. Smith also had a priceless reaction to this list of places where women don’t want to be taken on the first date.

“First of all, what the hell’s wrong with the Cheesecake Factory? Ain’t nothing wrong with the Cheesecake Factory.” He also pointed out that the Cheesecake Factory isn’t exactly a budget-friendly option and even recommended their salmon and chicken sandwiches.

Like Johnson, Smith wanted to know what is an acceptable location if all of these supposedly don’t work. There has been no word on whether the 56-year-old is dating anyone as of now, but he’d appreciate knowing where to go.
