Ja Morant isn’t shy on or off the court. The Memphis Grizzlies superstar has earned his place as an All-Star, one of the most promising young players in the league, and also one of the future faces of the competition. The point guard is still young, but he’s showing characteristics of a veteran, who manages himself nearly perfectly.

However, this doesn’t mean that he’s not ready to fire back at criticism, especially after a huge game. The 22-year-old took on the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night, dropping a career-high 46 points on the Eastern Conference leaders, delighting everybody with his good display.

Following the game, Morant reminded people that he’s a great player and that a bad game didn’t mean he’s slowing down. After many people criticized him for drinking a lot of Casamigos during the All-Star break, Ja clapped back and took another shot of the beverage.

He doubled down on Twitter, showing his happiness with his performance and the Grizzlies’ 116-110 win over the dangerous Bulls.

It was a great night for the team and its star. They knew it wasn’t an easy game, but went there, cooked at United Center, broke DeMar DeRozan’s streak, and got away with the win.

They still rank 3rd in the West, looking like a serious candidate to come out of the conference this campaign. They will have big rivals in the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks, but Ja and co. are confident in their chances to have a deep playoff run.

Nobody is putting much attention on them, but the Grizzlies could shock the world and have a similar campaign like the Atlanta Hawks or Phoenix Suns last season. We have to wait and see how the season develops for them, but right now, they are looking very dangerous.
