The Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves series has not only been fought on the court but it has also been fought on the sidelines. We have seen Ja Morant and Karl-Anthony Towns’ dads on the sideline trash-talking each other all series long. Both Tee Morant and Karl-Anthony Towns Sr. have been just as entertaining as the action on the court.

However, Tee Morant decided to step it up after hanging out with pop music icon Usher on the sidelines. Ever since Tee has become a more prominent face in the basketball world, people have been talking about his uncanny resemblance to Usher, something that was exacerbated when the pair sat next to one another.

Even the broadcast was confused as to which one of them was Tee Morant and which one was Usher. Their resemblance is uncanny, so watching the two doppelgangers dap each other up while enjoying the game.

It doesn’t look like Tee Morant will soon be off our screens, as the Memphis Grizzlies powered their way to a Game 5 win led by a game-winning layup from his son, Ja. The Grizz have a 3-2 series advantage and will look to close it out in Game 6 at Minnesota.

Morant attacked all the guards that Minnesota had on the court to limit him, including Patrick Beverley. As a result, he ended up with a near 30-point triple-double. He was one assist shy as his stat line showed 30 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals. Desmond Bane’s 25-point cameo was also crucial for the team on the night.

The Timberwolves have shown everyone how competitive they can be and will not be easy to beat at home in Game 6. However, they do face a tougher challenge considering how solid the #2 seed Grizzlies have been all season. But if they can rally behind KAT and Anthony Edwards’ mercurial offense, they can win the final 2 games and be in the second round.
