ESPN’s show “NBA Today” has given us some interesting moments since its premiere, and things became very strange recently when the host of the show, Malika Andrews, made a curious request to former player-turned-analyst Jalen Rose.

While Rose hugged Andrews, she asked Jalen to get his hands off her.

“Get your finger out of my armpit,” Andrews said while Rose proceeded to greet Richard Jefferson.

This interaction prompted a lot of people to make jokes and have more serious reactions about this. Some, like the parody page Buttcrack Sports, created fake news about ESPN firing Rose over this situation

Jalen has been one of the most entertaining analysts on ESPN for a minute now, and his personality matches NBA Today very well. Malika has been a troll in her own right, too, as she once tried to shave Richard Jefferson’s head and also roasted Kendrick Perkins on live TV.

These types of situations appear to be common between co-hosts, but fans had something to say about it.

NBA Fans React To Jalen Rose’s Curious Moment With Malika Andrews

As this video became viral, with over 3 million views, a lot of fans decided to say something about it. While some took it with humor, others wanted to know what actually happened since it didn’t seem like Jalen did anything wrong.

Somebody tried to find an explanation, saying that Malika’s hair could cover the move that Rose allegedly made.

One fan mentioned that Rose’s fingers were all visible.

One fan claimed that Richard Jefferson was the one that touched Malika’s armpit.

This short but interesting interaction opened the door for a lot of reactions, and fans didn’t hesitate to express their point.

Meanwhile, Rose keeps doing his thing, just like Malika. Some will think this will be the end of the former Most Improved Player on ESPN, but that seems unlikely to happen. He keeps entertaining fans with his takes and recently even said that the Phoenix Suns remain favorites to win the 2023 NBA championship.

It’s unclear what really happened there, but the video shows that Rose didn’t do anything wrong.
