James Harden Says Goodbye To Houston With Emotional IG Post

James Harden is finally out of Houston after the team decided to send him to Brooklyn in a 4-team trade with the Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers. Harden is ready to start a new chapter in his life and even though things didn’t end the best way for him and the Rockets, the Beard had nothing but good things to say about the team after his tumultuous exit.

He took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post on the Rockets, saying goodbye to the franchise and the city he called “home” for the last nine years.

“What can I write? What words can convey all the ways I feel. Houston you welcomed me with no guarantees. Took a leap of faith and it changed my life and the lives of my family forever. This organization, this city has given me everything I could ask for and more. Before the scoring titles long before MVP you believed. For that I am forever indebted. The city opened its arms and welcomed me and my family as one of its own and for that I am forever indebted. I gave my mind body and soul in hopes of bringing the glory to the city. I fell short and for that I am forever indebted. It’s far from a goodbye as I pay all my debts. TMC H Town!”

Harden is reunited with Kevin Durant in Brooklyn now, making the Nets a bigger favorite to win the NBA championship this season. The shooting guard will bring a lot of things to the table, as long as he makes sacrifices to mesh with his new teammates.

Houston saw Harden grow up, become one of the greatest scorers in NBA history and one of the best players in the league. It’s too bad they could never compete for the title, but the Beard leaves a lot of good memories in H-Town.
