Jared Dudley: “LeBron James Thinks He Is The GOAT”

2 Min Read

The GOAT debate is hotter than ever now that the NBA is in hiatus since March 12th and the premiere of Michael Jordan’s 10-part docu-series ‘The Last Dance’. Everybody wants to give their take on who is the greatest player of all time, with people often saying Michael Jordan, while others make the case for the current Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

One of Bron’s teammates believes he is convinced he is the greatest of all time. Jared Dudley, Lakers forward, was asked to share his opinion on the ongoing GOAT debate. Dudley said it’s unfair to compare players from different eras, but he understands why the media is always bringing up that conversation to entertain fans.

Ashley Nevel asked the veteran if LeBron thinks he’s the best player ever, as to what he said:

“For sure,” Dudley started. “I think Kobe thought that too to be honest with you.”

Jared Dudley has a unique perspective given the GOAT debate. He thinks it does take away from the greatness of each player but he understands how the media works. Sports are entertainment and entertainment brings debate. He also said LeBron (like Kobe and MJ) thinks he’s the GOAT and rightfully so. • @jareddudley10 @kingjames @nba @bleacherreport

It’s hard to compare players from different eras. Plenty of people have made that point in recent days and Dudley is not the exception. He believes that the GOAT title will depend on the taste of every person since it’s hard to get a final conclusion to the seemingly never-ending debate.
