Jayson Tatum radiated confidence when he named himself among the prominent names making a case as the next face of the NBA.

“You got guys like me, Luka [Doncic], Jaylen Brown, Donovan Mitchell,” he said, according to Ball Don’t Lie. “The league is in great hands. So many talented guys.”

To what will earn him massive respect from fans, he also added the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, and Nikola Jokic.

Tatum’s name in the mix makes sense, as he has been a vital cog in the Boston Celtics unit for the last few seasons. He led the side to the NBA Finals and the Conference Finals in the two previous seasons.

While he did fall short, there is no doubt that Tatum has done enough in the early stages of his career to prove that he will be one of the names leading the next decade of the NBA. Safe to say, with him and the names that he mentioned, the league is surely in good hands.

The Boston Celtics Look Poised For Another Successful Run

Making a deeper run in the playoffs is no mean feat and the Celtics have managed to do that for two seasons in a row. And both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been instrumental in the process.

Boston will have a new face in Kristaps Porzingis this season and will be on the lookout for a new guard to replace Marcus Smart, who was traded away for the Memphis Grizzlies last month.

With Joe Mazzulla set to lead the team again, the Celtics will feel they are in good hands, and with Brown expected to re-sign a lucrative max extension with the team, the team does look unstoppable.
