Joel Embiid has dubbed himself a troll, and he doesn’t hesitate to show that facet of his personality whenever he has the chance. The Philadelphia 76ers superstar is ready to compete with his team once again, even though they have lost some pieces in the past couple of seasons.

Besides Ben Simmons, who had a terrible fallout with the team, they lost more pieces in the trade that sent the Australian point guard to the Brooklyn Nets. Sharpshooter Seth Curry was included in that deal, trying to thrive on a team that has had more downs than ups.

Embiid, who is focused on getting the job done in Philly, remembers Seth very well and everything he brought to the table. The shooting guard is one of the best at what he does, and Embiid didn’t hesitate to praise him for that.

Joel Embiid Has The Perfect Comment About Seth Curry

Moreover, the Cameroonian-born center didn’t miss a chance and diss the former Philadelphia 76ers star while talking about current teammate De’Anthony Melton, who is having a similar role to Curry on this team. Following a great duel against Anthony Davis, Embiid had this to say:

“It helps a lot. I had JJ, JJ was great. Seth was—I think Seth cared a lot about his percentages so he didn’t want to take bad shots, but yeah, I mean JJ, it was on another level. Just the difficulty of the type of shots he was taking, and it was just unbelievable. That’s why our two-man game was so successful. Same thing with Seth. Our two-man game was unbelievable, too,” Embiid said after the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night

Embiid knows how to appreciate his teammates, as some of them were really helpful to his cause. He’s yet to win a championship in Philly but is not losing hope. Following a couple of bad seasons, the Sixers appear to be ready to take the Larry O’Brien trophy home this season. However, that won’t be an easy job, as the East is full of competitive teams, including Seth’s Nets.
