Kendrick Perkins After James Harden Trade: “I Don’t Want To Hear No More LeBron James Needs A Stack Team To Win Rings Because Apparently Everyone Does!”

For years, LeBron James has been criticized for joining and creating powerful teams superteams. From Cleveland to Miami and to the Lakers, he has been to many different teams over the past few years — and each one has been absolutely laced with talent.

While LeBron often gets credit for making superteams popular, he’s not the only one to partake in the tradition.

Following the Nets’ acquisition of James Harden, thereby forming the newest super squad, Kendrick Perkins responded, coming to the defense of Bron.

I wonder if Kyrie is going to sacrifice…btw I don’t want to hear no more Lebron James needs a stack team to win rings because apparently EVERYONE does! Carry on…

— Kendrick Perkins (@KendrickPerkins) January 13, 2021

LeBron has played with a nice handful of stars over his career, including Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Anthony Davis.

But when you consider how many others have been a part of superteams (Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard), it really doesn’t make James look all that bad.

In today’s NBA, teaming up with other stars has become common practice and some would argue that it’s even necessary to win.

The newest “big three” in Brooklyn is only a sign that things aren’t really going to change on that front.
