Christmas Day in the NBA is generally a time when the league showcases its top superstars and their best matchups. There is no doubt that Christmas Day games are often thrilling to watch, and we’ve seen some legendary performances happen in that setting.
This year’s Christmas Day schedule has been revealed, and it seems as though there are already people that are unhappy with it. NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins has recently stated his disappointment that the world won’t get to see stars Trae Young and Anthony Edwards on Christmas day, saying that he doesn’t understand how the Hawks and the Timberwolves are not on the schedule.
We need to see Trae Young and Anthony Edwards on Christmas Day!!! I don’t understand for the life of me how the Hawks and Minnesota are not on the Christmas Day schedule. Don’t mind me tho and Carry the hell on…

There is no doubt that Trae Young and Anthony Edwards are both extremely exciting players to watch. Trae Young is a top-5 point guard in the league, equally adept at playmaking as he is at scoring. Anthony Edwards is an athletic phenom, often driving to the rim for a thunderous dunk. Both are popular players among fans as well, and, unfortunately, they did not get to partake in Christmas Day basketball.
Hopefully, though, we see both Trae Young and Anthony Edwards get Christmas Day games in future years. There is no doubt that their futures are bright, and both of their teams are headed in the right direction. The Atlanta Hawks made a win-now move for Dejounte Murray, while the Minnesota Timberwolves did the same with Rudy Gobert. With winning, Christmas Day games will come, and it definitely looks as though Trae Young and Anthony Edwards will be doing some winning in their future.
