Kevin Durant Fires Back At The NBA After He Gets Pulled From His Team For COVID-19 Protocols: “Your Fans Aren’t Dumb!”

2 Min Read

Kevin Durant was suddenly and abruptly pulled from his team on Friday, with the NBA citing COVID-19 health and safety protocols as the main reason why.

According to the league, KD was pulled from the game, and his team, as a show of caution after a positive COVID test came back from someone who Durant recently had contact with.

Naturally, people were quick to point out the NBA’s flawed and hypocritical system.

Durant, unsurprisingly, joined the song of criticisms directed at the league…

The biggest problem for people here is that the NBA doesn’t seem to have a consistent plan. On one hand, they say they’re exercising extreme caution by having Durant sit out, but allowed him to play even when the results were inconclusive.

The NBA is also going out of their way to host an All-Star game, which is an obviously unnecessary risk to the health of their players and staffers.

Needless to say, folks are fed up, and even Durant himself seems to have reached the end of his rope.

Let’s hope the NBA can figure out a better way to handle this situation so that things are more clear and consistent going forward.
