Damian Lillard put up a show on Tuesday night, going for 55 points in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 147-140 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The All-Star point guard once again showed his quality and fierce competitiveness, sinking clutch shots after clutch shots to keep his team alive. In the end, the Nuggets beat Lillard, but the NBA world was delighted to see another masterclass by Dame.

Kevin Durant was in awe of the 30-year-old, taking to Twitter to express his admiration for Dame’s performance.

I had like 4 tweets I wanted to write to describe this MASTERPIECE by Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr, but I am seriously at a loss for words…

God mode.

This a spiritual experience.

After the Brooklyn Nets easily eliminated the Boston Celtics, KD kept watching games. It didn’t take long for KD to noticed that Dame was on fire, praising the Blazers guard with a series of tweets.

Despite his great performance in Game 5, Portland returns home 3-2 down, trying to tie the series against Denver. They hope to see Damian with another historical night to lift them over Nikola Jokic and co.

This series is one of the most entertaining in the 2021 playoffs. As long as Dame keeps playing at this level, the Blazers will have a chance to beat the 3rd seed in the Western Conference.
