Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets had an incredibly close game against the Milwaukee Bucks, which they only lost by 1 point in the dying seconds of overtime. Durant did his best to bring the Nets back, making 3 clutch free throws with 8 seconds left after a dangerous foul was committed on him when he was attempting a corner three. Durant seems to feel that players in the NBA are taking a few liberties with him.
During the post-game press conference, Kevin Durant was asked about the ankle injury he seemingly sustained during another similar play in the 4th quarter that was not called for a foul. Durant noted that his ankle is hurting, and then pointed to the fact that this was the second game in a row where a player walked up underneath him while he was trying to make a play.

Durant is clearly frustrated with the way players are guarding him during games. But KD wasn’t the only one to voice his frustration about the way the Milwaukee Bucks played last night. After the game, Kyrie Irving also spoke about the Bucks and the lack of foul calls during the game for the Nets, accusing Milwaukee of playing reckless basketball and not getting punished for it.
Durant recently squashed any rumors about him potentially leaving the Brooklyn Nets, noting that he is settled with the franchise, and doesn’t want to move. KD signed an extension till 2026 recently and will be looking to stay with the franchise and win a championship in the near future. Durant will become a Nets legend if he is able to take the Nets to their first NBA championship win in history.
