The Golden State Warriors booked their place in the second round of the NBA playoffs last night, as they won in Game 5 of their series against the Denver Nuggets.
The Warriors were sensational throughout the series, with the play of Stephen Curry being a true highlight for fans to watch. Klay Thompson’s presence has helped the Warriors, as he has been able to make big shots and put up good numbers during the series.
After the game, Klay Thompson showed love to his teammate Stephen Curry. In his post-game press conference, Klay Thompson noted that Stephen Curry is the centerpiece and the franchise leader of the Warriors.
And playing with him is very easy, because of how good he is, as Klay also pointed out that life without Stephen Curry on the court is quite difficult for the Warriors. He ended by saying that Stephen Curry is truly one of a kind.
Klay Thompson on Splash Brother Stephen Curry: "He’s our leader, our longest-tenured player, our MVP. And without him, life is difficult. Steph Curry is one of a kind."

“He’s our leader, our longest-tenured player, our MVP. And without him, life is difficult. Steph Curry is one of a kind.”
Curry and Thompson share an incredibly close relationship with each other. The two have been teammates for more than 10 years now, and have found a lot of success while playing alongside each other.
Both Curry and Klay became perennial All-Stars for the Warriors around the same time and were both incredibly important for the Warriors as they went on their dynastic run in the 2010s. Curry and Klay made up the backcourt of the Warriors during the years they made 5 straight NBA Finals and won 3 NBA championships.
Curry and Thompson will be hoping to extend the Warriors dynasty this year by winning their 4th NBA championship together. Winning a 4th NBA championship would further solidify the legacy of Curry as an individual star, and of the Warriors as one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history.
