Kwame Brown Says Shaq O’Neal Couldn’t Even Guard Him In The Paint In His Prime

2 Min Read

Kwame Brown is the man of the hour in the NBA right. He’s been for about a week now and we’re not sure if that will change anytime soon.

The former No. 1 overall pick has been ranting and calling out people on the media criticizing him and his career. He broke Kevin Durant’s record of fights in just one weekend and it seems like he’s going for more.

Further, Kwame showed how confident he was and still is in his talents. During the rant where he called out Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson and Gilbert Arenas, the player made a case for himself as a solid player, even claiming not even Shaquille O’Neal could guard him during his best days.

That is a pretty bold statement to make, but Brown has been feeling himself and letting people know.

“You could throw the ball on the block against me with any n***a in the league and go handle your business. One-on-one, I got this. Shaq couldn’t even back me down,” he said.

Shaq was one of the most dominant players in the league’s history, and Brown never lived up to the expectations. That is just blasphemous to say and fans let the player know he was just overstepping with those comments.

Knowing how great Shaq was and how Brown’s career went, you know that wasn’t possible. So imagine O’Neal’s reaction when he learns that one of the worst No. 1 overall picks of all time said that about him. Complete madness.
