Kyle Kuzma Reacts To The Washington Wizards Being Top-10 In 11 Categories, Including Points, Rebounds, Three-Pointers, And Defensive Ratings: ‘Capitol Boys Out Here’

It has not even been a full month since the new NBA season began, and fans already think that the Washington Wizards got the better end of the Russell Westbrook trade. In exchange for Westbrook, the Wizards got Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, and also added Spencer Dinwiddie.

These players, along with All-Star Bradley Beal, make up the core of the Wizards going forward. And at the moment, they have gotten off to a fantastic start this season. The Wizards are currently 7-3, boasting a better record than the Los Angeles Lakers despite not having the star power they do.

Most recently, the Wizards defeated the reigning NBA champions, Milwaukee Bucks. Bradley Beal had a strong showing, putting up 30 points against the Bucks. On the other hand, Kyle Kuzma had a triple-double and is slowly living up to the potential he had shown glimpses of with the Los Angeles Lakers.

But it isn’t just Beal and Kuzma who are performing well. The Washington Wizards are currently top-10 in the NBA in 11 categories, including points, rebounds, three-pointers, and overall offensive and defensive ratings. The new additions in Washington have played a massive part in that.

Kyle Kuzma reacted to this stat being shared by StatMuse on Twitter. He seems to be very proud of the way he and the team have started the season. He shared the post, captioning it “#CapitolBoys out here”.

This good start to the season has also gotten Bradley Beal excited about the franchise. While his future once seemed unsure, he came out and said that he does not want to leave Washington, and is happily playing in the city with this new core of young stars around him.

If the Wizards can get each of their newly acquired stars to contribute at the highest level, and get stars like Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant back and healthy, then they will be considered one of the more dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference.
