For all his flaws off the court, Kyrie Irving is one of the most gifted ball-handlers the NBA has ever seen. A magician with the ball in his hands, Kyrie’s ability to break down the defense off the dribble is a sight to behold. So, when an NBA fan praised his off-hand dribbling, Kyrie shared a video of his idol Kobe Bryant also praising his shooting prowess.
That led to another fan accusing him of hyping himself up and Kyrie did not take kindly to that remark. He replied that he has no need to gas himself up and also added that he is not even close to being done with the game.
And no I won’t be done playing basketball at 38 years old lol, I’ll be in leagues all over the world playing and teaching the youth all that was taught to me.

“I don’t ever have to Gas myself up. I am going on my 12th year in the best league in the world and I am only getting better. When I am 38 years old and have time to reflect on my career truly, I will do so, but until then, I am enjoying every moment. ♾A11Even”

Irving states he is just enjoying every moment and he once again brought up how keen he is on teaching the youth, all that was taught to him about the game. He has been at basketball camps to help out kids this offseason and also gave some advice to struggling high school players last month.
Irving’s resume also speaks for itself, with a championship to go with 7 All-Star appearances and that is not something you can ever take away from him. It also shows just much his off-the-field antics have hurt his value, that except for the Lakers, no team has any interest in acquiring him even after the Nets made it clear they would be willing to let him go.
A player of his caliber would normally have teams queuing up to acquire his services, but only the Lakers seem to have any sort of interest and even that is down to his former teammate LeBron James badly wanting him on the team over Russell Westbrook. You have to wonder what happens with Kyrie once LeBron is done with him and maybe the star guard will have to prepone his plans of playing around the world if his standing within the league doesn’t get any better.
