  • Kyrie Irving had a great take on LeBron James’ greatness
  • The guard noted that James has thrived despite all the attention and pressure
  • Irving then praised James for still dominating in the league

Even as superstar LeBron James ages, he still remains one of the best players in the league. He made the All-NBA Third Team with the Los Angeles Lakers this year and managed to lead them to the Western Conference Finals.

Previously, we saw Kyrie Irving deliver an inspiring take on LeBron James and his greatness. The guard noted that it is difficult to have to deal with the same amount of attention as LeBron James, and added that despite all of that James has done extremely well in his career.

“It’s hard to be LeBron James or any superstar in any entertainment or sports industry. All eyes are on you. They gave the keys to a whole entire business to an 18-year-old..now he’s 38 years old and still dominating.”

There is no doubt that LeBron James has accomplished everything that people expected him to, and more. Four MVP awards, four championships, and four Finals MVPs speak for themselves. There are many among younger generations that believe LeBron James is the GOAT, and he certainly has a case base on his accolades and numbers.

This past season, LeBron James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game, while shooting 50.0% from the field. It will be interesting to see how he does next year, and the Los Angeles Lakers will certainly be among the Finals contenders next year.

Many People Believe LeBron James Is Already A Los Angeles Lakers Legend

During his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James managed to do a number of important things. He has already won a championship with the team in 2020 and also became the league’s all-time leading scorer this year with the team. In fact, those are the reasons that Kendrick Perkins believes that LeBron James deserves to get a statue in Los Angeles. The team has not yet provided an update on this matter, but even Lakers legends like Shaquille O’Neal have said LeBron James should get a statue outside the Lakers arena.

There is no doubt that LeBron James is a legend for two other NBA franchises, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat. He will likely get statues with those franchises as well, but getting a statue with the Los Angeles Lakers would truly be special for the superstar.
