Kyrie Irving is considered one of the most skilled players, if not the most skilled player in NBA history. The way Irving is able to handle the ball and make his way to the basket is unparalleled.

Irving’s talent is otherworldly, as many players and analysts have noted. One of the most shocking developments last year was Irving being snubbed from the NBA’s 75th-anniversary team, something that Irving doesn’t agree with.

Kyrie Irving had a long discussion with Eddie Gonzales on the ETCs podcast. Kyrie Irving spoke about being snubbed, noting that he wasn’t upset about being left out

But he also said that he deserves to be on the NBA 75 list because of what he has contributed to the sport of basketball, saying he was at the ground of the revolution in the NBA, and that he represented the mastery of the game of basketball.

“I feel like I represent the mastery of basketball… I feel like I deserved to be on that Top 75 list because I’m part of a revolution of this game.”

Irving spoke about a lot of topics during the interview, including not feeling like himself throughout the course of the NBA season. Kyrie also addressed what he was thinking when there was speculation surrounding his basketball future due to him not being able to play home games for the Brooklyn Nets.

Irving also made it clear that he has shifted his focus to the future, saying he wants 4 years of dominance in Brooklyn. After taking some time away to recalibrate and get his mind right, Irving will be back in the gym, dedicating himself to finding success with the Brooklyn Nets in the future.

Irving and Durant will want to prove the critics wrong by winning an NBA championship, something many have claimed they would not have been able to do if they weren’t playing with LeBron James and Stephen Curry respectively.
