Superstar LeBron James is one of the best players in the league, even at the age of 38. There’s no doubt that he is still better than the majority of the league, and he still has a lot he can contribute to the game.

After the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, there was some speculation that LeBron James will retire after a statement he made. However, recently, LeBron James announced that he won’t retire.

“The day I can’t give the game everything on the floor is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.”

This is definitely good news for the Los Angeles Lakers. They have retained a lot of the players that helped them get to the Western Conference Finals and even made some good additions, such as Gabe Vincent. However, none of this works without LeBron James’ presence, and the team’s championship hopes clearly lie with him.

LeBron James had an outstanding 2022-23 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 28.9 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 6.8 APG. Hopefully, we see him continue to play at a high-level next season, and it is likely that he’ll still be a superstar player even though this is the twilight of his career.
