Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ big win against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, LeBron had the chance to speak to Bill Oram of The Oregonian, revealing that the Oregon Ducks head coach Dana Altman knows that Bronny is interested in playing for him.
“Dana knows,” James said. “He knows the interest. And it’s mutual.”
Moreover, the King stated that his son can go wherever he wants since he has the quality to thrive no matter where he plays or under which system.
“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to,” LeBron said.
“All I have to do is pick up the phone,” he continued. “If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.”
Knowing that Bron is an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and he’s close to USC, LeBron admitted the decision would be hard for Bronny, but he will have the final say on his future.
“He’s going to make his own decision,” James said. “But there’s a chance.”
LeBron praised coach Altman for what he’s done in Oregon, explaining that his system could help Bronny reach the next level, as well as improve him as a person. This is a very interesting option for the young player, but it remains to be seen what he will decide.
