Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire Wade, was one of the names called on Saturday’s NBA G League draft, being selected as the 10th overall pick of the afternoon. Zaire previously played with LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, at Sierra Canyon.

Now he’s getting close to the NBA, playing for the Utah Jazz’s G League affiliate, Salt Lake City Stars. Zaire and his father starred in a wholesome moment on Saturday, embracing each other in a hug that showed how happy and proud they were.

Zaire’s selection drew many reactions around social media, including his uncle LeBron James, who took to Instagram to celebrate this moment. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar shared a couple of stories with messages to the Wade family. First, he congratulated Zaire, defending him from haters.

Proud of you, nephew!!! Keep going and F the haters!! They ain’t [s**t] anyways.

Moreover, he sent a shootout to Dwyane Wade for making this a reality for his son. Bron once again charged against haters while celebrating his former Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers teammate.

Love to see it!!! Proud of my nephew’s journey because he traveled it his way! Happy as hell for my brother D-Wade ’cause I know how much he want to see it happen for him on his own terms!

Black excellence, you haters!!

The relationship between Wade and James has been really close since the days they both played in Miami. Flash and The King became best friends in South Beach, and that bond has transcended their careers.

They are family know and the way he talks about Zaire is the biggest proof of that. Just like Wade, Bron hopes to see his son playing in the association a couple of years from now. LeBron wants to go further and play alongside Bronny, which would be a historical feat for his already impressive career.
