Aside from his 11th place finish in the West, these past few months have been kind to LeBron James.
He has vacationed in the Maldives, celebrated the premiere of the new Netflix movie ‘Hustle’ (which he co-produced), and officially joined Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as the only NBA athletes to reach a net worth of at least $1 billion.
In his thankful mood, he made sure to give a special shout out to his wife, Savannah, on Instagram:
Quick letter to my Queen, Simply just letting you know that I appreciate you more than this world has to offer!! Been my holding this shit down from the very first jump ball! James met Savannah as a teenager during a High School football game in Akron, Ohio. They tied the knot back in 2013 and have been happily married ever since.
Despite his fame and fortunes, LeBron has never lost sight of or appreciation for those who are closest to him. Whether it’s his mother, wife, or children, James is always showing his love for family. Maybe it’s because he knows that, without them, none of it would have been possible.
