The Los Angeles Lakers have played their first 10 games of 72 they will play this season, The purple and gold are on a mission, trying to defend their 2020 NBA championship and so far they’ve done a good job regardless of some setbacks they suffered along the way.
They are focused on the job, playing good basketball but they know they can still improve and get a lot better during the season. LeBron James, the biggest star of the team, is well aware of that and he’s ready to keep improving to reach their desired level. After the Lakers beat the Chicago Bulls, 127-125, on Friday night, LeBron reflected on the Lakers’ performance during their first 10 games of the season.
“I think we’ve played B, B+ basketball, and that’s OK… we’ve added 5 new pieces to the rotation … we’re still learning each other. We’re getting accustomed to different lineups … we’ve played pretty good basketball, but we want to be better,” LeBron said.

The Lakers returned to the top of the league last season led by James and Anthony Davis and they aren’t planning to leave their throne right now. Even though they’ve won seven matches, the King knows his team can do a lot better and that’s exactly what he’s planning to do.
The Lakers added a couple of players that elevated their level and they need to live up to the expectations. Things have gone well so far but imagine what is going to happen when the team starts playing their best game.
