Even though the Los Angeles Lakers are going through a good run right now, placing themselves one game away from the 6th seed in the Western.

Their two best players might not be getting along this season, and things might not be as great between them as fans think.

“I’d been tipped by somebody around the Lakers that said LeBron and AD, after that reaction to LeBron breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record, they’re not boys. It’s not hostile, but they’re not guys, right?” Colin Cowherd said in a recent episode of his podcast. “You can tell from body language.”

AD starred in a curious moment when LeBron James broke the all-time scoring record, simply sitting down while the rest of the team cheered for Bron. The big man later revealed that he was upset as the team was losing the game, and his reaction had nothing to do with Bron.

Still, Cowherd maintains that LeBron has felt some type of way about Davis, who hasn’t been consistent with the Lakers this season.

“I think there is a feeling LeBron feels like he kind of needs him for at least this year because I had been told, in the last year, there are times LeBron is disappointed,” Cowherd continued, via ClutchPoints. “[Davis] came in post-bubble out of shape. It was his turn to sort of triumphantly take the team. When LeBron’s missing, AD’s often not playing as well. … And there’s been some disappointment in the LeBron camp.”

This has become a thing in the NBA the past couple of months, and even though James has shown his happiness for the Lakers after they won their third straight game, rumors keep coming about LeBron being mad at Davis.

LeBron James’ Camp Was Reportedly Frustrated With Anthony Davis And Darvin Ham

It was Cowherd who claimed that LeBron’s camp was frustrated with Davis this season, given his lack of availability. They were also upset with Darvin Ham for not holding AD accountable, creating issues with James.

Things appear to be going well for the Lakers this season, but if this situation continues or gets worse, they could take separate ways and finish their association after delivering one championship to the Lakers in 2020.
