The NBA world was also glued to their screens for Federer’s last ever game in professional tennis. LeBron James certainly was no exception to the same. The Los Angeles Lakers recently reacted to the viral moment of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal crying.

“So AMAZING man!! Damn man”

LeBron was understandably moved by the moment of the two legends crying. Given that the duo were eternal rivals and ended up becoming great friends off the court speaks volumes about their relationship as players. Federer, meanwhile, started a new chapter of his career after playing 24 years of professional tennis.

LBJ might find himself in a similar position after a couple of seasons. Although he is still among the elite, father time is inevitable, and despite being a machine, James, like other greats, will hang up his boots sooner or later.

Until then, all of us basketball fans need to cherish all the moments we see from ‘the King’ and respect the greatness we see on the court.
