Kyrie Irving is taking the most advantage of the opportunities he has to play. As a part-time player, the point guard had a rough time trying to make an impact on his team, but recent games have shown that Kyrie is playing like his best version.

He still can’t play for the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center, but his recent outings have been just great for the team. It seems like March is a great month for Irving, as he’s scored big points during this time. Earlier this week, he went off on the Charlotte Hornets, dropping 50 on them.

Five years ago, he did something similar, and LeBron James remembered that moment. In a game against the San Antonio Spurs, Kyrie went off with 57 points, sending everybody into a frenzy with his big performance.

James shared the video on his Instagram stories, recalling that he had a great view to witness Kyrie’s greatness against one of the best franchises in NBA history.

“And I had the best seat in the house to watch his greatness,” LeBron wrote.

The 2016 NBA champion set a franchise-record 57 points when the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Spurs, 128-125 in overtime. It was a great performance from Irving, who would play his last season in Cleveland in 2017.

His relationship with LeBron is unknown right now, but it seems like the King doesn’t hold any grudges against his former teammate. This season has been complicated for both LeBron and Kyrie. Their respective teams have struggled to get things going after looking like championship favorites before the start of the season.

Many fans hoped to see the Brooklyn Nets facing the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2022 Finals, but things can be a lot different.
