LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are in a frustrating place at the moment. The team has been performing decently in their recent games, but the losses keep racking up. They recently lost a very tight game against the Philadelphia 76ers that many of the players perhaps thought they should have won. And the frustration is starting to boil over.

LeBron James cut a very frustrated figure after the loss to the Sixers, and it seemingly had a lot to do with Russell Westbrook‘s final play of the game. Russ drove the ball against Joel Embiid and failed to get a proper shot up, with the Lakers vehemently suggesting that Westbrook got fouled. The referees didn’t agree, though, and a fan on Twitter posted quite a conspiracy theory about it.

“Regardless of how you feel about Russ, If you don’t think that this was as clear of a foul as it gets – then you’re lying. Period. For NBA to come out and shamelessly lie 2 games in a row against the Lakers? Why is NBA trying to make sure Lakers lose?

“This must be MUCH BIGGER STORY than it is. What NBA is basically doing, is 2 days in a row, altering their own definition of the rules, their own guidelines to tell the fans to “believe them” instead of our own eyes on Game Deciding Plays! How is this not a Huge Scandal?”

The Los Angeles Lakers lost a close game against the Dallas Mavericks as well, with the league even confirming that there were a lot of missed calls. But to suggest that there is an agenda against the Lakers might be a bit much. What’s wild is LeBron James doesn’t think so.

LeBron James Says The Refereeing Is Not Making Sense To Him

NBA stars always have a problem with the referees, but very few call them out publicly. King James is clearly past the point of frustration, though, and he made that obvious when he quote-tweeted that fan.

“And all year they keep telling me to my face on the court, ‘I didn’t see it’ or ‘It wasn’t a foul.’ It’s not making sense to me seriously! Frustrating as hell man! Anyways keep going Squad!”

It’s tough to say how long a tweet like this will remain up, but it’s safe to say that LeBron has perhaps inadvertently endorsed some serious allegations here. Frustration after a few losses is understandable, but it’s unlikely that the league will be very lenient following this tweet from James.
