  • LeBron James is ready for his 21st season
  • LeBron shows he wakes up early to train
  • LeBron takes care of his body better than any other player

LeBron James is ready to begin the 21st season of his NBA career. He made this known by posting on his Instagram story the time that he was waking up, which was 3:22 AM, and the caption “Let’s Get it” with a crown emoji.

The fact LeBron James is still playing at a high level despite being 38 years old and heading into his 21st season is insane. Some of the reasons for LeBron’s prolonged prime could be genetics. The other is his dedicated training habits.

LeBron James Invests $1 Million Per Year For His Body

LeBron James has an insane training regime; this helps to keep him at his peak despite being 38 years old. It’s been reported that LeBron spends $1 million per year on his body.

LeBron’s former teammate, Mike Miller, once spoke about how King James treats his body.

“Where a lot of people don’t do it, he puts a lot of money behind taking care of his body,” Miller said. “A lot of people think it’s a big expense, but that big expense has allowed him to make a lot more money for a long period of time.”

LeBron is extremely careful about what he eats and drinks. He’s always thinking about keeping his body sharp for basketball.

This is the exact opposite method the player LeBron is most compared to, Michael Jordan, did as a player. Jordan famously smoked cigars routinely, drank beer, and got little sleep.

This key difference in taking care of his body could be why LeBron’s prime has lasted longer than Jordan’s entire career. Still, LeBron needs to win another title for his GOAT case, and he’s ready to go for it in the upcoming season.

What Can We Expect From LeBron In His 21st NBA Season?

As LeBron James gets ready for his 21st season, we will try to determine what to expect from King James. It would be hard to think LeBron can go out and give the Los Angeles Lakers at least 25 points and 7 assists per game, but that’s extremely realistic.

In his 20-year career, LeBron has only averaged under 25 points once, and that was in his rookie season. LeBron also has a career 7.3 assists per game average, including a 6.8 average last season.

So, it’s very likely LeBron will continue at the same pace he has shown every year in his career. Hopefully, Anthony Davis can step up and be the leader offensively this season. If Davis can, this will allow LeBron some time to rest so that he can be ready for the playoffs.

How will LeBron and the Lakers fair in the 2023-24 season? We can’t say for sure, but the season starts on October 24 in a rematch with the Denver Nuggets, the team that defeated them in the 2023 Western Conference Finals.
