LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are desperate to break out of the slump that they find themselves in currently. The Lakers have lost their last three games, and have been poor ever since they came back from the All-Star break. But despite their dip in form, LeBron James still thinks that the Lakers can make things happen in the playoffs.

In the post-game press conference after the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James was asked about what chance he thinks the Lakers have to make some sort of run in the playoffs. James issued a warning to the rest of the league that until he is completely down and out, he and the Lakers can do anything during the playoffs.

LeBron: "Until you bury me 12-feet under, I got a chance. That’s my confidence … as long as we got more games to play, we still have a chance … I hate losing … I feel like poop right now. But tomorrow’s a new day, and I’m going to be prepared for the Clippers on Thursday.”

“Until you bury me 12-feet under, I got a chance. That’s my confidence … as long as we got more games to play, we still have a chance … I hate losing … I feel like poop right now. But tomorrow’s a new day, and I’m going to be prepared for the Clippers on Thursday.”

LeBron also spoke about the fact that Lakers fans have been booing him and the rest of the team during their latest stretch, remarking that he was fine with it because he will always be on the side of the fans and the franchise. But frustrations are clearly running high in LA.

Lakers fans were not happy with their latest performance, taking to social media to air their frustration and disappointment. As things stand, it is hard to imagine how the Lakers, in their current form and structure, will be able to make anything close to an NBA championship run in the playoffs. But given that they have LeBron James, it is not out of the realm of possibility.
