  • LeBron James is a big football fan
  • James gave his picks for 13 NFL games on Sunday
  • LeBron only got two of them wrong

LeBron James tried his hand at giving picks for NFL games, and his first attempt went spectacularly well. LeBron hopped on to Instagram Live on Sunday to make his predictions for the games, and he went an impressive 11-2.

Buffalo Bills over Miami Dolphins, Bills won 48-20

Minnesota Vikings over Carolina Panthers, Vikings won 21-13

Denver Broncos over Chicago Bears, Broncos won 31-28

Cleveland Browns over Baltimore Ravens, Ravens won 28-3

Pittsburgh Steelers over Houston Texans, Texans won 30-6

Los Angeles Rams over Indianapolis Colts, Rams won 29-23

Tampa Bay Buccaneers over New Orleans Saints, Buccaneers won 26-9

Philadelphia Eagles over Washington Commanders, Eagles won 34-31

Tennessee Titans over Cincinnati Bengals, Titans won 27-3

Los Angeles Chargers over Las Vegas Raiders, Chargers won 24-17

Dallas Cowboys over New England Patriots, Cowboys won 38-3

San Francisco 49ers over Arizona Cardinals, 49ers won 35-16

Kansas City Chiefs over New York Jets, Chiefs won 23-20

LeBron had made it clear that you shouldn’t put your life savings on his picks, but you’d have made some decent money if you’d done so, I assume. The only ones he got wrong, were the Browns over the Ravens and the Steelers over the Texans. James is a Browns fan, so there was certainly some bias involved there.

While for a lot of these, the 38-year-old did go with the favorites, he did get some upsets spot on. The Bengals were favored against the Titans, while the Saints were favored against the Buccaneers.

He also claimed to have picked the Detroit Lions to beat the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football, when he announced he might be making these picks. If we take James’ word there, then he’s 12-2 so far for Week 4.

“Y’all know I love football. With that said I’m thinking about doing my picks of the week (NFL games) tomorrow on IG live before they start. I did pick Detroit over GB TNF. Anyways we’ll see”

LeBron also gave his pick for the Monday Night Football game, as he went with the Seattle Seahawks over the New York Giants. Can he finish things off on a high? Probably, as Seattle is the favorite. You can check out LeBron making all those picks down below.

LeBron James Gave An Inspirational Message To Jets Quarterback Zach Wilson

It seemed there was a real chance that LeBron might get 3 predictions wrong when the Jets were driving to take the lead in the fourth quarter against the Chiefs. Quarterback Zach Wilson fumbled the ball, though, and Kansas City held on to get the win.

A disappointed Wilson could be seen saying it was his fault they were going to lose. In response to the viral clip, LeBron shared an inspirational message where he commended Wilson for playing well and added that you win and lose as a team.

He is very much on point there. All Wilson should do now is hold his head high and push forward. He played a great game, and one mistake doesn’t take away from that. LeBron’s words of encouragement would mean a lot to Wilson as well.

LeBron James Is Gearing Up For His 21st NBA Season

It is unclear whether LeBron is going to be doing more of these NFL game picks, but it seems unlikely. The Los Angeles Lakers have their media day on Monday, and the NBA season is now looming on the horizon.

James has already got the team to start working together, as new arrival Gabe Vincent shared details of LeBron’s minicamp for Lakers players in San Diego. The 19-time All-Star seems to hold one before the start of every season, and Vincent stated that it went well.

GM Rob Pelinka also revealed how LeBron has been intensely preparing for the 2023-24 Lakers season. The four-time NBA champion, who averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game in 2022-23, desperately wants to get his hands on a fifth title.
