LeBron James just continues to perform at a very high level in his 20th season, and his opponents can’t help but be impressed with what they are seeing.

James is averaging 29.5 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 6.9 APG this season, and Luka Doncic praised him when asked about LeBron’s play in this campaign.

“I mean, it’s unbelievable for a guy like that, that he’s doing that stuff at 37, 38,” Doncic said. “20th season in the NBA, it’s just unbelievable. He’s the scoring leader, he has accomplished almost everything that you can accomplish in basketball. It’s pretty amazing to play against a guy like that.”

It really is unbelievable that he is playing so well in his 20th season, and he is doing so despite being hampered by injuries at various points. He was playing through injury in this game as well but still managed to put up 26 points, and 8 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers stormed back from a 27-point deficit to win 111-108.

LeBron gave a bit of a concerning injury update on his ankle after the game, but it seems unlikely to keep him out of action. The Lakers need him out there for every game, too, so you would expect him to play unless the injury is too severe, and this one doesn’t seem to be that bad, as he was able to play the entire game against the Mavs.

LeBron James Spoke About What Makes Luka Doncic Special

There is a lot of mutual respect between these two, and LeBron is a very big fan of the Slovenian. He called Doncic his favorite player in the NBA at one point last year, and that is saying something.

He also explained that what makes Luka special is the combination of size and his vision. LeBron added that Doncic can control a game, and there really aren’t too many players in the league who can do that.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
