The Kobe Bryant tragedy has broken the hearts of many within the community this week.

As folks come to grips with the loss of a legend, many players have expressed their grief publicly, including through sentimental posts and in-game tributes. Luka Doncic decided to take it a step further.

Along with making a sentimental Instagram tribute to the Mamba, Doncic wore special game-day Kobe’s that had the names of every victim who died in the devastating crash.

There were nine victims in total including Kobe and his daughter Gianna, college baseball coach John Altobelli, along with his wife Keri and daughter Alyssa, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and the pilot Ara Zobayan.

Luka is just one of many people to honor them.

It’s a dark time in the NBA, but especially for the family and friends of those involved in the incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all as they grieve the losses of the people they love.
