Max Kellerman Says That We Are Seeing LeBron James Decline: “It’s Clear He’s Still The Best Player In The World… Are We Still Sure About That?”

2 Min Read

LeBron James has often been crowned as the best player of this generation, and perhaps of all time. While it’s not like he has won every MVP award every season, everybody knows that once the playoffs roll around, LeBron James is the man that you have to worry about, no matter the Conference that he is in. He led the Los Angeles Lakers to a title last season, their first title since the era of Kobe Bryant.

Despite most people believing that LeBron James is the best player in the world currently, Max Kellerman has come out and stated that we are witnessing the decline of LeBron James and that we should question whether LeBron James is still the best player in the world.

Molly Qerim: Are we seeing the decline of LeBron James?

Max Kellerman: Yes we are. This is uncharted territory in the history of basketball… Couple of days ago, LeBron said “I doubt that I’ll be 100%… in fact I don’t think I’ll ever be 100% again in my career”… 100% means 100% of what you have been. Make no mistake about it, LeBron James every year is in the Finals, and has won the championship. Because when the dust settles, when the smoke clears, it’s clear that he’s still the best player in the world. Are we still sure about that?

There has been no opportunity for LeBron James to show that he’s still the best, due to him suffering a long-term injury this season. However, LeBron James was playing at a very high level before his injury, and with some luck, he’ll recover before the playoffs start. While LeBron James may never be at his peak again, he is still one of the best performers in the league, and arguably the best when it comes to the playoffs. At the end of the day, it’s just hard to doubt someone with a winning reputation like LeBron James.
