The Memphis Grizzlies-Golden State Warriors series has been very intense. Both teams have left everything on the court, playing physical, getting some players ejected, and playing mind games even off the court.

Game 1 saw Draymond Green ejected after a flagrant foul 2 on Brandon Clarke; Dillon Brooks was ejected and then suspended after committing a huge foul on Gary Payton II in Game 2, which resulted in a fractured elbow for the Warriors guard, and Game 3 saw Ja Morant hurting his right knee after Jordan Poole grabbed it

Things have been pretty wild here, and it’s safe to say a rivalry is brewing between the two squads. Even analysts are stirring the pot, expressing their opinions on all the things happening between Dubs and Grizzlies.

However, somebody recently took it to the next level, using a racist trope to criticize Draymond Green’s attitude on the court. Fox 13 Memphis Joey Sulipeck sent a terrible tweet to criticize the league’s decisions, comparing Draymond’s ejection to Kyle Anderson’s.

And chew on this: Draymond runs his knuckle-dragging open mouth ALL GAME LONG, but mild-mannered Kyle Anderson disputes one call and gets ejected? Next level jackassery.

This was really an unfortunate comment, and NBA fans didn’t hold anything back, going off on the reporter for using such terrible language to talk about not only an NBA player but a human being.

It’s unacceptable to see these types of comments nowadays, no matter how heated things can get between Grizzlies and Warriors. We hope that this situation doesn’t get bigger than this and that the competition doesn’t get out of control and we can see a great series, with big intensity, great plays, and players showing that they want to win at any cost, but always keeping things cool and not trying to hurt their rivals.

The Warriors lead the series 2-1 now after beating the Grizzlies on Saturday night. Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night, and we can’t wait to see what these two are bringing to the table.
