‘Michael Beasley Beat LeBron James 1-On-1 Everytime,’ Says Miami Heat Insider

1 Min Read

LeBron James is one of the best players of All-Time. He is a 16x All-Star, 4x MVP, and 3x Champion, with career averages of 27.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.4 assists on 49.8% shooting.

But even the King has seen some losses one-on-one, and the one who used to beat him every time in Miami may surprise you. According to Tom Haberstroh on the Back To Back podcast, it was Michael Beasley who would beat LeBron almost every time they played one-on-one.

Beasley hasn’t had much success in the NBA. He was drafted second overall but was never really able to live up to expectations. He has played for seven different teams in 11 years, with career averages of 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on 46.5% shooting.

But for as underwhelming as Beasley’s career might be, he’s a talented scorer and a fearless competitor. In his best moments (especially during his stint in Miami), he was unstoppable on the offensive end.

To beat LeBron one-on-one so regularly really shows how good he was and maybe he can find that magic once again…
