Michael Jordan’s name is attached to a lot of memorable stories but they never stop coming. Jordan is one of the greatest players of all time given all the things he lived during his successful NBA career and even when he retired from the game. MJ was never afraid of a challenge and it is very clear that he was ready to take things personally when somebody tried to disrespect him.
Back in 1999, when MJ retired from the game for the second time, somebody called him out and claimed he would beat him one-on-one, as to what Jordan replied showing up and demonstrating he was the best player in the world, even when he retired from the game. There was this one time when Randy Brown was talking with MJ through the phone, a young Corey Benjamin dared to say he could beat Jordan if they went at it and His Airness heard that.
Next thing they knew, Jordan made an appearance at the Bulls’ practice to challenge Benjamin. MJ showed him, gave him buckets and destroyed him, making it clear that he couldn’t be doing this every time some player decided to think they were better than Jordan.
“Don’t call me out of retirement for that s*** again,” he said after beating Benjamin.

Jordan starred in more stories like this. Recently we discovered that he humbled Stephen Jackson after the latter claimed he would beat Jordan. MJ, as usual, wasn’t happy with that and went to win Jackson as a 50-year-old. He is a bad man and won’t hesitate to show people he still got it, even if he’s nearing his 60s.
