Michael Jordan is widely considered the greatest player of all-time in the NBA. His Airness did everything he wanted during his time with the Chicago Bulls, even retiring twice before returning to the league. Michael was just incredible; he could do impressive things on a nightly basis, enchant fans at the arenas and around the world while leading his team to become one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history.
MJ was just special but people seem to have forgotten how great he really was. A lot has passed since MJ retired and even more since he last won a championship. With all the comparisons going about who is the GOAT between Air Jordan and LeBron James, fans have started to make claims about Jordan being carried by Scottie Pippen. It’s well known that Pippen played a big role in the Bulls’ success in the ’90s but saying that he carried Jordan is just crazy.
As a matter of fact, MJ took two teams with poor numbers to the championship. The 1996/97 and 1997/98 Chicago Bulls had the lowest supporting cast in NBA history for a championship team. Well, something that they had was Michael Jordan, who took those players to the promised land to win his second three-peat and leave the game of basketball as a complete legend.

Jordan won six championships and earned Finals MVP honors in each of those series, becoming an absolute legend in the NBA world. MJ was just too great and people often forget about that. Others said Pippen carried him but numbers show that is a lie.
