Michael Jordan’s Kids Share Their Stories About The Last Dance And Michael Jordan

2 Min Read

“The Last Dance” documentary has the entire NBA community reminiscing about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. In an era headlined by stars, Jordan’s fearless and relentless attitude on the court is often what gave him an edge in matchups.

Apparently, he was the same way with his kids. Jordan’s children, Marcus, Jeffrey, and Jasmine recently made an appearance on the Today show to share their own stories on Mike.

“He would treat us exactly the same as any other basketball player he was playing,” Marcus, one of Jordan’s sons, said on NBC’s “Today” show.

“The game got so competitive [one time], to the point I literally had to call my mom, [and tell her], ‘Dad’s picking on me,’ ” Marcus said. “I was a freshman in high school. There was nothing given. You had to earn everything.”

MJ’s competitive nature often seeped into his home life.

“I always knew he was competitive,” she said. “He competes with us just playing sudoku or little puzzles at home. But actually seeing that dog in him and what he had to do to become who he is today has definitely been eye-opening and honestly inspiring and motivating so it’s been incredible to watch.”

Even his children are impressed with the documentary. And why wouldn’t they be?

This project by ESPN is a truly eye-opening experience. Never before have we seen this type of perspective on Jordan’s career and it’s awesome to witness his career from behind the scenes.
