Montrezl Harrell Says The Lakers Are A “Great Team To Be Around.”

1 Min Read

The Montrezl Harrell signing was a move nobody saw coming for the Lakers. Having just spent the prior season as Sixth Man of The Year for the Clippers, agreeing to join the Purple and Gold was almost like an act of betrayal.

But now that he’s in Lakerland, he doesn’t seem to be having any regrets. In fact, like he told Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet, the Lakers have got a good thing going right now.

“This is a great team to be around, I can see the chemistry that they built last year carrying over.”

So far, Trez has performed admirably for the Lakers, averaging 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

More importantly, he appears comfortable and happy with the squad, which might be more than can be said about last year, when the Clippers had all kinds of issues both on the court and in the locker room.

Needless to say, the differences between the Lakers and Clippers are glaring and unless something changes, it appears that Trez may have traded up in the 2020 offseason.
