NBA Broadcaster Say Michael Jordan Is The GOAT During Live Game: “Michael Jordan The Greatest There Ever Was… The Greatest Who Ever Will Be”

The debate on who the greatest basketball player is still on, but the Hornets announcer already has his mind made up. As the Charlotte Hornets hosted the New York Knicks on Friday night, the broadcaster made sure to let the Spectrum Center know that the GOAT was in the building.

“Michael Jordan the greatest there ever was… the greatest who ever will be,” he said.

What started as a happy night for Jordan did not exactly end in the same way as he was furious following Kelly Oubre’s poor decision late in the game. His choice to take a three-pointer instead of running down the clock might have cost them the game but the Knicks did not capitalize on that. The game ended in a 104-96 win in front of their home fans.

Michael Jordan is forever known as the man that never lost an NBA Finals, leading the Chicago Bulls to six championships from 1991-1998 and winning the Finals MVP on all six occasions.

MJ’s greatness cannot be questioned, as he was a freak athlete on both ends of the floor. He won the scoring title ten times in eleven seasons and also made nine All-Defensive teams.

It was a war of words on social media as fans took the opportunity to restart the GOAT debate. As expected, LeBron James was at the center of the debate, as many believe he has come the closest to earning the GOAT title. LBJ is a one-in-a-lifetime talent, but not many believe he has played at the same level MJ did.

I don’t see LeBron

LeBron is currently in his 19th season and continues to show why he is the King. He has led three different franchises to NBA titles and is gunning for his fifth ring with the 2021-22 Los Angeles Lakers. Although the team is currently underperforming, there is still a lot of basketball to be played in the season.

Jordan is currently the Hornets chairman, a role he has earned since he became the majority owner of the franchise since 2010. Unfortunately, he is yet to achieve success as an executive as his team has only reached the playoffs twice since he took over as chairman.
