The NBA 75 ceremony was truly a special event. Prior to the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, the NBA honored the 75 best players in the history of the league, allowing all of them to bask in the glory of their success, and giving NBA fans the opportunity to show them the love and admiration that they deserve.

One of the teams that had a massive number of NBA 75 players on the list was none other than the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are one of the greatest franchises in NBA history, so this should come as no surprise. And as a result, on the night of the ceremony, some of the Lakers stars on that list decided to take a picture with each other to celebrate the massive success of the franchise.

During the photoshoot, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Bob McAdoo, James Worthy, Jerry West, and LeBron James took a picture together as representatives of the greatest players to play for the Lakers. But there was one notable absence, one that broke the heart of all NBA fans.

Unfortunately, Kobe Bryant was not in the picture. Fans were very upset about Kobe, noting that he is the one Laker that belonged on the list arguably ahead of every other person in the picture. And one NBA fan granted that wish, creating a wonderful image with all these Laker legends, and Kobe in the middle.

Instagram account LV Visuals posted a customized picture of the Lakers legends, with Kobe Bryant at the center of it. It was a fitting tribute to the greatest Los Angeles Lakers player in history, and the picture seemed more complete now that Kobe was at the center of it.

Out of all the teams in the NBA, the Lakers had the second-most number of players on the list with 15, and only the Celtics had more players on the list than the Lakers.

Aside from Kobe, some other players that could not be in the picture were Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor. Whereas Anthony Davis was absent from the event, and Carmelo Anthony has not accomplished anything in a Lakers’ uniform despite being on the list.
