James Harden couldn’t win a championship with the Houston Rockets, but there is no doubt that he ranks among the greatest players in the history of the franchise. Harden made the Rockets, who were mired in mediocrity before his arrival in 2012, title contenders, and if not for an injury to Chris Paul in the 2018 Western Conference Finals, he might have led them to a title.

While Harden was a star on the court, he was also quite famous for being a regular at strip clubs in the area. When he finally got his wish and was traded by the Rockets to the Brooklyn Nets in 2021, he hilariously liked a Tweet on how the strippers would have reacted to his departure! So, when Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Harden might be returning to the Rockets next season, an NBA fan hilariously Tweeted how the strippers would react to his return.

“Harden might go back to the Rockets”

NBA Twitter reacted to the video and they found it hilarious.

“This 1 of a few times I have literally laughed out loud reading tweets.”

“LMAOOOOO yooooooo it’s Christmas come on”

“This is a generational Xmas tweet”

“This one gotta be in your top 5”

“bout to get paaaaaaaaid”

“This is so damn funny – 5 star tweet bro”

“Omg, that’s the Christmas present I needed.”

“this guy don’t miss”

“Every strip club in Houston is going to be tuned into Zach Lowe and Woj’s NBA Free Agency Special this summer.”

“The Houston Stripping economy about to see the biggest turn around”

“A Christmas Day banger!”

“NBA tweet of the year candidate right at the end of 2022”

“HOUSTON Strippers stand tf upppp”

“OH WE BACK”

“This is such a Great tweet to end the year”

“Essentially that’s like a guaranteed raise cause he basically running that economy”

“Man this app don’t miss”

“they are back in business”

They would certainly be quite happy to have him back in Houston, just like Rockets fans would be. There may have been some bad blood over how Harden left the team in 2021, but they would welcome him with open arms now. The Rockets have quite a talented young core, and while Harden won’t be a perfect fit with their timeline, he would be a good mentor for them, at the very least. He already has a good relationship with a few of the players, which also helps.

James Harden Refutes Reports On His Future

Harden finally reacted to those reports by stating that he had no idea where they came from and that he is excited to be on the Philadelphia 76ers. He also got a bit upset that the reporters were asking him these questions on Christmas. The timing might be unfortunate, but there is no way they weren’t going to ask him about it considering the report came out very recently.

He is probably speaking the truth when he says he is excited to be with the Sixers right now, as they are riding an 8-game win streak. It was a rough start to the season, but they are clicking into gear now, with Harden and Joel Embiid playing at a very high level. They are just 3 games behind the top-seeded Boston Celtics and will be looking to make amends for some of their postseason flameouts this time around.
