NBA Fan Shares Photos Of Draymond Green Breaking The Player’s Code, Slams Steve Kerr’s Statement That Dillon Brooks Broke It

Steve Kerr recently made headlines when he accused Memphis Grizzlies player Dillon Brooks of ‘breaking the code’ between players that forbids ballers from making big fouls that can jeopardize a colleague’s career. Brooks recently committed a huge foul on Gary Payton II that will keep him sidelined for a couple of weeks.

After that action, Kerr didn’t hold anything back against Brooks and called him out for making such a huge foul and breaking the code that there is between players. The multiple champion head coach went off on the rival, but some people weren’t having any of that.

In fact, one fan took to Twitter to call out Kerr for his comments while showing four different times where Draymond Green broke the code himself. The former Defensive Player of the Year has earned a reputation of doing too much to stop rivals from scoring, and some fans haven’t forgotten about that.

Connor Dunning, an ESPN worker, recently shared four pics mocking Kerr’s comments, showing how Draymond did Brandon Clarke (in Game 1 of this year’s series), Steven Adams, and LeBron James (twice) dirty while trying to stop them from scoring.

More fans joined the party and showed the videos and pictures they have of Draymond doing everything to stop rivals, while others defended the veteran and explained why his fouls were different than Brooks’.

I’d consider what Zaza did to Kawhi more of a career threatening play than anything any Memphis Grizzly player in history has ever done

So we wait to see if there’s an injury or not before declaring a play dirty? That’s an interesting spin

The fourth picture in this tweet is Draymond hitting someone mid air. He just got lucky that there’s been no injuries that happened

People defending him in the comments saying “But they didn’t get injured though” So he can keep doing it until he gets one person injured? https://t.co/skfuUhsrgB

But were their careers in jeopardy? No..ok then. Code broken https://t.co/Z8LLPw5J6Q

Green is indeed a great player, somebody who does a lot for his team, even though he’s not the best scorer of all time. Draymond is the glue that puts everything together on the Warriors’ offense, but he also can lose it during games, making some questionable actions that put him under fire.

Yes, nobody likes to see their players getting injured after a bad and avoidable foul, but fans disagreed with Kerr’s comments about Brooks, knowing that he has a Draymond on his team.
