NBA Fan Trolls 2017 Tweet From Brian Windhorst Saying His Wife Was ‘Considering Divorce’: “Every Drake Song Sounds Like This”

2 Min Read

Brian Windhorst has always been a respected NBA insider, but his popularity has reached new heights in the last couple of months thanks to a very entertaining segment where he did everything he wanted with the hosts at First Take. The ‘Now, why is that?’ meme is all over the internet now, making Windhorst one of the most famous insiders in the league.

With this increase in popularity, not only love but trolling came into his life. He drew a lot of reactions when he admitted that he no longer texts LeBron James, but that’s not the only Windy-related topic going around the NBA community right now.

Recently, one fan ran into an old tweet from the ESPN talent and decided to share it with the world, using a hilarious caption to get the attention of many basketball and music fans.

“I’m in Rome, it’s 1:30 a.m. and my wife may be considering divorce. I leave analysis of Cavs-Celtics trade to my able colleagues. Good night,” the ESPN insider tweeted in August 2017.

User @sparkywtf shared the tweet but twisted it a little, saying that Windy tweeted some sort of Drake song.

Of course, fans were quick to react to that, adding more jokes to the original one, just having fun at the expense of Windhorst.

We hope that things between him and his wife are ok, or if they got a divorce, he was able to move on with his life. Windy remains one of the best insiders on ESPN, and even with the lost connections he had with LeBron James, nobody doubts his sources are reliable.

He keeps bringing updates about the hottest rumors in the NBA, but this time, he’s the man of the hour for something personal and nothing juicy he said on TV or social media.
